Hello everyone!
For my first post, I will get right down to business. Have you ever heard of the Pickwick Papers, the serial novel by Charles Dickens? Green Forest Chronicle was inspired by the Pickwick Papers.
Like most authors, I love writing to death. However, formatting, publishing and all the accompanying pains that go with getting stories out there are not exactly my favorite things to do or write about in a blog. So, with the publication of my debut novel 'Adrastea: Book 1 in the Annals of Orbis' just around the corner, I thought it would be fun to start my own 'Pickwick Papers'.
Instead of telling you stuff I find on the internet and boring details of my publishing life, I will be writing stories as serials, one or two chapters at a time, and post them on this blog instead of a magazine, free for everyone to read, in the fashion of the Pickwick Papers.
I have so many ideas already bubbling over and it will be hard to pace myself, but the 'publication' date for the first installment of my first blogged book will be after the launch of Adrastea (going live April 5th). I will be posting about one chapter a week - depending on how long they are - starting April 19th, so stay tuned!
I hope you come and visit often while I write, as authors can get lonely sometimes.
